Synopsis

Cha Tae Wung est un gosse de riche, qui vit aux crochets de son grand-père. Suite à une énième bêtise, il se voit menacé d'être enrôlé de force dans une académie militaire. Il prend alors la fuite et réussit à échapper à la colère de son grand-père en se réfugiant dans un temple. C'est là qu'il va malencontreusement libérer un Gumiho, un renard à neuf queues, connu pour dévorer le foie des êtres humains. À la suite de certaines circonstances, il va devoir vivre avec ce Gumiho et s'accommoder de sa présence au quotidien. Si aux yeux de tous, c'est un petit ami chanceux, qui a une copine magnifiquement belle, en réalité Cha Tae Wung est terrorisé par le Gumiho. C'est pourquoi, il préfère lui passer tous ses caprices, comme l'achat quotidien d'une quantité de viande faramineuse, ce qui très vite le met dans une situation financière difficile...
