Zusammenfassung
Eine Auseinandersetzung zweier Männer eskaliert im ländlichen US-Bundesstaat Iowa in den 1930er Jahren. Auf der einen Seite steht der Aufwiegler Seth Davenport (Killian Scott), der sich den Kampf gegen den Status quo auf die Fahnen geschrieben hat. Dazu hat er sich als Kleinstadt-Prediger getarnt und versucht, die Mitglieder seiner neuen Gemeinde zum Aufstand gegen die Industriellen anzustiften, die den einfachen Leuten kaum genug zum Überleben lassen. Auf der anderen Seite steht ein vom betroffenen Industriellen entsandter Söldnertyp, der notfalls mit Gewalt den Streik brechen soll: Creeley Turner (Logan Marshall-Green). Eher zufällig haben die beiden Männer aber schon eine blutige Vorgeschichte.
